Thunder Release New Live Album

And Reunite For One-Off Festival Appearance

Both Thunder and The Union are firm supporters of Childline Rocks, which raises much needed money for both Childline and the NSPCC.

Having played at various fundraising live events over the years, Ben, Danny & Luke (Thunder) and Pete (The Union) will join a 25 plus group of likeminded nutters (including Scott Rowley from Classic Rock Magazine and Andy “Bravo Two Zero” McNab) for a charity Harley Davidson motorcycle ride in the USA.

The remaining members of both bands will join them in Ketchum Idaho on July 16th for a one off Battle Of The Bands type competition, at The Sun Valley Pavilion. There is no prize as such, but Thunder needed a warm up show for their High Voltage appearance (their first since 2009), and the winners get to drink their own body weight in beer…

The Schedule:

With a bunch of musicians together on a road trip, there will be musical moments each night of the journey, mostly guitars around the campfire stuff. All of this will be captured for posterity via audio and video recordings.

They’ve already raised close to £10,000 (incl Gift Aid) for Childline, but would like to raise more. We all know times are tough right now, so it’s all the more important that Childline get the funds they need to continue the vital work they do. Anything you can give will help, even £1.00.

Donations can be made HERE.

As an added incentive, donors of £10 or more will get the audio recordings of the music made on the journey. £25 or more will get the music plus the video clips made by the band members.

We hope you can find it in your heart (and perhaps under the cushions in the sofa) to donate something (anything) to this extremely worthy cause and make it a brilliant and successful trip.

All and any promotional assistance you can provide on this would be gratefully received. Thanks a million Ben, Danny, Luke and Peter
