Steve Hackett Live Rails CD Release And Tour News

Steve Hackett Live Rails is scheduled to scream out of the tunnel on 15th November. His band explode into life as the runaway train roars across 2 CDs which feature the most exhilarating and charged moments of the 2009 – 2010 tour, from Paris and London via New York and beyond.

The album will be shunting its way onto the merchandise stalls on Hackett’s Around The World in 80 Trains Tour, which arrives in the UK on 16th November. The show features an exciting new set, with an additional Genesis song, as well as Sierra Quemada, Golden Age of Steam, Shadow of the Hierophant and Valley of the Kings plus one brand new, never heard before track. Live Rails will also be available through the new re-vamped Hackett Songs webstore when it opens in mid-November. The first 500 copies will be signed by the man himself and are available for pre-order now.

Steve’s current album Out of the Tunnel’s Mouth has been nominated for Best Album of the Year by Classic Rock Magazine. The Roll of Honour Awards will be held on 10th November in London.

During his career, Steve’s inherent talent has yielded success in a diverse range of musical genres, from his years with Genesis, through jazz, world music, rock and blues. He is an equally gifted classical guitarist with 4 hit classical albums to his name.
