Saxon Announce 3 UK And 3 European

Headlining Dates During The Motorhead Tour

British rock legends Saxon have announced 3 exclusive club shows in the UK and 3 in Europe this winter, in addition to the upcoming November/December dates with Motorhead. The tour, unofficially known as ‘Bombers and Eagles Fly Again’, will see the two iconic bands hitting the road together to perform in Europe and in six major UK music venues in November 2014.

Seminal NWOBM outfit Saxon will head alone to Northampton, Preston and Buckley in the UK to revisit venues where they last entertained audiences back in 1979 and 1980, in a memorable comeback which will see them perform tracks from their latest album ‘Sacrifice’ next to a selection of classics. A tribute to the band’s loyal fan base, Saxon’s return to their roots promises to be a special treat not to be missed. Some footage from the events will be used for an upcoming documentary, which will also include filming from July shows at Holmfirth Picturedome and the Steelhouse Festival. The European dates will take Saxon to Luxembourg (10th November), Leeuwarden in Holland (4th December) and Malmo, Sweden (7th December).

A fundamental part of the history of British Metal with 15 million records sold worldwide, Saxon are billed as very special guests on the Motorhead tour, with German rockers Skew Siskin providing support; the heavyweight package is sure to be a hit with fans of the genre and tickets are going fast.
