R Us
The Publicity Connection has been making generic interview
CDs for major artists albums, tours, events and other music
related projects for several years. We have worked with artists
including Iron Maiden, Simply Red, Simple Minds and Alice
Cooper as well as event promotion for Big Day Out, (interviews
with Metallica, Creed and Pitchshifter) and Rock The Bowl
(interviews with AC/DC, The Offspring, Megadeth and Queens
of the Stone Age).
The
Publicity Connection has set up a specialised department to
provide this service and this venture is known as Generics
R Us.
The
first Generics R Us CD was for the Monsters of Rock tour in
May 03 featuring interviews with Whitesnake, Gary Moore and
Y & T. A specially edited version of the Whitesnake interview
was also used by EMI Records in Europe to promote Whitesnake¹s
European tour.
All
of our generic CDs have been used successfully in relevant
territories on both regional and national radio stations and
we have had positive feedback from the radio presenters, record
companies and promoters that have used this service.
Generic
interview CDs are an excellent tool for gaining advanced radio
coverage on an impending project because they can literally
put the artist in hundreds of radio stations in several territories
with one simple 20 minute interview. Even if the artist is
on the other side of The World.
Armed
with a wealth of music related knowledge and experience gained
over several years we will research and collate excellent
and entertaining interviews that are pertinent to each special
promotional project.
GENERICS
R US will sort out the whole process from putting
the questions together, arranging the recording of interviews
to broadcast quality, editing, providing transcripts and pressing
finished product when required.
