ALICE COOPER AND SHOUT! FACTORY

ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “KEEPIN’ HALLOWEEN ALIVE”
AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON iTUNES

Los Angeles, CA – Alice Cooper, the King of Halloween, has a brand-new single celebrating his eternal love for the infernal holiday: “Keepin’ Halloween Alive.”

Alice Cooper’s “Keepin’ Halloween Alive” is available now for purchase exclusively on iTunes, as a single, or as a Digital 45 with the “Cooperoke” vocal-free version and a bonus digital booklet.

Alice delivers “Keepin’ Halloween Alive” with the garage-punk snarl he is best known for, ensuring that it will soon be a Halloween classic. “At home my family all gathers around an old spooky tree decorated with skulls and bones in the living room, and we exchange gifts,” says Cooper. “It’s our holiday. We even all have matching black-and-orange Halloween sweaters!  I wanted a theme song for people like me, and for us Halloween never ends. In the chorus I say, ‘I’m keepin’ Halloween alive, baby, 3–6–5’... and I mean it!”

“Keepin’ Halloween Alive,” was co-written and co-produced by Cooper with Piggy D. (a member of Rob Zombie’s band), who played rhythm guitar/backup vocals. Dave Pino (Powerman 5000) is featured on lead guitar, and David Spreng (Bob Dylan, The Bravery) on drums. Of the recording, Cooper says, “We played it live as a band to capture the vibe. It was the easiest work I think any of us have ever done, not to mention a blast!”

In addition to releasing the new single, Cooper is busy hosting his “Nights with Alice Cooper” radio program, now syndicated on more than 100 stations worldwide, and available as the Breakfast show on Planet Rock Radio in the UK and staying on the road with his Theatre of Death world tour—tour dates below. “ALICE COOPER’S
THEATRE OF DEATH”
TOURS THE UK IN THE AUTUMN

They Keep Killing Him… But He Keeps Coming Back!

Alice Cooper’s shows not only rock, they have astounded, shocked and even terrified those in the front row… however, Alice Cooper’s Theatre of Death Tour, which comes to 10 UK cities in November and December, is set to surpass all previous spectaculars.

Featuring many of Cooper’s massive hits including School’s Out and Poison plus newer material from his 2008 "Along Came A Spider" album,Alice Cooper’s Theatre of Death” is a very different show than any that has gone before. Always expect the unexpected from the unpredictable Alice Cooper…

This time the King of Shock Rock has specifically chosen to stage this more visual UK tour, in smaller more theatrical venues for the first time in many years, in order to offer fans a closer look at the gruesome action.

Of his latest tour, Alice says, "I ALWAYS prefer to play theatres because it makes the theatrics of our show so much more intense.

With this being a new show, with things we've never done before, we're proving that Alice is totally indestructible.   It's still pure rock 'n’ roll of course.   The great thing is that England always gets our shows better than anyone else."

The band features long time Alice Cooper regulars Damon Johnson and Keri Kelli, guitars; Chuck Garric, bass and Jimmy deGrasso, drums.

Support for the tour will be Man-Raze, who are Def Leppard’s Phil Collen (vocals, guitar); Paul Cook (drums), founder of The Sex Pistols one of the most influential bands of all time and Simon Laffy (bass) who was a member of Collen’s pre-Leppard outfit, Girl.

ALICE COOPER
“ALONG CAME A SPIDER”

RELEASED 28TH JULY

Cat no. CD – 90602

2xLP Gatefold - 90601

A dark and menacing album for dark and menacing times’ is perhaps the most fitting description for Alice’s 25th studio album, released through SPV on 28th July.

A chilling, conceptual thread runs through the songs, which are told through the voice of a serial killer named Spider. Alice Cooper, the master storyteller, weaves a web of danger, intrigue and death that rivals his best work.

Co-produced by Danny Saber, Greg Hampton and Alice himself, ‘Along Came A Spider’ manages to marry both vintage and modern day Alice. As theatrical as ever, the album has got hard rock with hooks and classic balladry, always with an overtone of evil - an instantly recognizable presence that will be welcomed by his fans.

Danny Saber, formerly of Black Grape, has also worked with Ozzy Osbourne & David Bowie, while Greg Hampton's been working on a new album project teaming up Buckethead and Bootsy Collins.

Joining Alice on the album are members of his touring band - long-time Alice drummer Eric Singer, bassist Chuck Garric, guitarists Keri Kelli and Jason Hook, while Slash contributes guitar style to "Vengeance Is Mine."

There are only a handful of rock artists that have proven to be as enduring and influential as Alice Cooper has over the years. Name just about any hard rock artist, and they’ve probably borrowed a thing or two from Alice. But who else but Alice would create a "love story" about a serial killer named Spider, whose trademark is wrapping his victims in silk, and his victims are specifically chosen to feed his hunger to kill.   However, on meeting his (possibly) last victim, he falls in love with her and cannot kill to complete his plan, which could be his demise.

Before such theatrical rockers as David Bowie, the New York Dolls, Kiss, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, and Marilyn Manson, there was Alice Cooper.   The original Alice Cooper group quickly became despised by adults and authority figures, while being idolized by teens and rock fans everywhere, on the strength of a succession of all-time classic albums  ('Love It to Death,’ ‘Killer,’ ‘School’s Out,’ ‘Billion Dollar Babies,’ etc.) and anthems (“I’m Eighteen,” “Under My Wheels,” “School’s Out,” "Elected," “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” etc.).   Alice had continued success as a solo artist, releasing successful albums like ‘Welcome To My Nightmare' and ‘Trash,’ featuring classic hits such as "Only Women Bleed," "I Never Cry," and "Poison."   All one has to do is look at the many other artists that have covered Alice to understand how far reaching his influence is – the list is endless -- or just keep in mind that Johnny Rotten auditioned for the Sex Pistols to the tune of "I'm Eighteen.

ROCKERS PROMISE NO MERCY
Alice Cooper, Motorhead
& Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Team up for UK tour

Alice Cooper - Motorhead - Joan Jett
Rock fans are in for a unique treat this November when shock rock guru Alice Cooper teams up with legendary British rock’n’roll hellraisers Motorhead & loud leather lovin’ Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for a value-packed 10-date UK tour which promises a relentless, ear-splintering, deliciously dirty rock’n’roll experience.  Each legendary artist is a leader in their rock genre.
Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper, the original shock rocker, has entertained, surprised and disturbed audiences for over 30 years, fusing Detroit glam metal with theatrical performances.

With over 30 albums-worth of material to draw from, these shows promise classic Cooper at his menacing best.

Of the tour Cooper said, "Having toured with both Motörhead and Joan Jett before, and had a great time, we're really looking forward to an all-out high energy show every night.   They just don't do tours like this anymore, but we're going to do it.   This is like a 'No Mercy' tour, we're not showing any mercy to anyone."

Motörhead, one of rock history’s most pivotal bands, have spent the last few decades bringing the house down with their blistering, blitzkrieg punk-metal juggernaut of a live show.
The powerhouse trio of Lemmy Kilmister (Bass and Vox), Phil Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums) received rave reviews across the board for their 18th studio album, ‘Kiss Of Death’, released on SPV Records in August 2006;
Motorhead
“Back to their remorseless best” said Uncut, “The Sound of a band at the very top of their game” - Classic Rock, and The Telegraph “It’s enjoyably visceral entertainment, particularly the epic anthem ‘God Was Never On Your Side’

Joan Jett, known for her trailblazing as the founder of the first all girl rock and roll band, the Runaways, and as the founder of the first successful woman-artist owned record label, Blackheart Records, and then, for her breakout of punk cult status with her mega-hit “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”
(as a member of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts)
has enjoyed a long and illustrious career.

Her kick-ass blend of rock and roll and punk features catchy riffs and stunning vocals and has given
her 11 groundbreaking Top 40 USA singles
and 8 gold/platinum albums.  Her latest album,
Sinner, was released in the US last year
on her own Blackheart Records label
to amazing critical and retail success,
and is set for release in the UK soon.

Joan says, "I am looking forward to returning to England, where my post Runaways solo career started, and where I have unfortunately not performed for a very long time. Alice and Lemmy are singularly unique and talented artists, who I count amongst my friends. Lemmy, in fact, was one of the very few people to help me when I started recording and touring in England, long ago."
